Animal Law Institute Photos: 2004 If you missed the 2004 Animal Law Institute, we are sorry you did! We had a great program and a terrific panel of speakers. Approximately 80 people attended the one day Institute in Austin. Speakers from Texas, California, Michigan and Indiana presented a variety of topics, including a Report from the Global Conference on Animal Welfare, Practicing Animal Law, Dog Fighting, Animals and Probate Issues, and others. Even our State Bar President-Elect, Kelly Frels, made a surprise appearance! Laney Vazquez introduces Professor David Favre. Bill Davis presents his paper on animal rights.
